Join us for an evening of inspiring keynote speakers, workshops by top creatives, networking and hands-on experiences with the latest Nikon equipment.

Nikon Live brings you all the excitement, inspiration, and education with five days of workshops, keynotes, and Nikon store experiences. Get hands-on with the latest and greatest Nikon equipment, including the Z6III and Noct, through our range of free walk-in and registered sessions with a Nikon product expert.

6 pm & 8 pm - Portraiture with

Julia is a portrait photographer and shares her photography background on YouTube in the form of tutorials, reviews and behind the scene videos. Julia specialises in portrait & fashion photography, online and in-Person seminars and workshops, travel & tourism content, and social media marketing.

Join Julia in a deep dive into key portrait photography and learn how to set up a camera for portraits, how to pose a model, and lighting setups.

Julia’s first session will be at 6 pm. The second session will be at 8 pm. These sessions are free and no registrations are necessary.

6:15 pm & 8:15 pm - Videography with

Wes is a photographer and videographer based in Sydney working primarily on advertising, editorial content, product and event videos as well as portrait photography.

He turns client briefs into beautifully crafted content that is social, shareable and cultural by nature to maximise relevance and exposure on social media platforms and mainstream media.

Wes has been working at the heart of Sydney culture for the past 18 years and has been partnering with a range of iconic international and local brands that are changing the game in Australian culture today.

Join Wes in learning videography with the new Nikon Z6III. Working with boxers, Wes will showcase key features of the Nikon Z6III such as Autofocus & tracking, low-light performance, as well as how to set up a camera for videography.

Wes’ first session will be at 6:15 pm. The second session will be at 8:15 pm. These sessions are free and no registrations are necessary.

7 pm - Keynote Speaker |

Ray Collins is an ocean photographer from Wollongong, renowned for his breathtaking seascapes that capture the ocean's power and fragility.

Ray’s award-winning photographs have been featured in National Geographic and Vogue and his dedication to showcasing the ocean's beauty has made him a global advocate for marine conservation, collaborating with NGOs, scientists, and activists.

His published works, including "Water & Light," and his exhibitions, such as the Umweltfotofestival in Germany, further cement his status as a leading figure in environmental photography.

Join us for an inspiring keynote presentation by Ray, where he'll delve into his artistic journey, showcasing his achievements and challenges, and the tools that shape his vision. Ray will introduce himself and share his evolution from DSLR to mirrorless cameras, presenting a captivating collection of images from each phase of his career. Ray currently works with the Z8 and Z9 mirrorless models, he'll discuss and show his recent Aquatec film project shot on the Z8.

The presentation will conclude with a Q&A session, offering you the chance to engage directly with Ray. Additionally, Ray's books will be available for purchase at our store, and one lucky attendee will win a Ray Collins print on the night.

Matt Irwin has been a working photographer since 1990. In that time he has covered almost every type of photography imaginable.
Matt splits his time between publishing his own works as originals, books, calendars, prints and his professional clients, who range from advertising agencies, government departments, local government and business of all sizes.Matt has also been creating content for his growing and successful Youtube channel which covers a wide range of behind the scenes and insights from how his work is actually created to the gear, and the industry as a whole.
