Spiral Flow: Discover the wisdom of movement
In my classes, movement is not just about strength or flexibility but about deeply understanding the body and how it functions. Through the study of anatomy and biomechanics, we will learn to move more efficiently by harnessing gravity, inertia, and balance. By understanding how we interact with space and how to use our bodies ergonomically, we optimize energy, reduce muscular effort, and unlock new movement possibilities.
Additionally, we will immerse ourselves in the study of spirals, which is one of the most natural and efficient ways to move. By integrating these patterns into our bodies, we will discover a sense of continuity and expansion that will transform the way we dance. Spirals not only allow us to move with greater ease and without blockages but also open up an infinite range of expressive possibilities.
For those looking to take their practice to a more advanced level, we explore soft acrobatic movements adapted for dance. Through fluid and accessible sequences, we incorporate elements that expand our movement vocabulary while maintaining both safety and harmony.
ABOUT Nikita Anishchenko
Nikita 4Nikita Anishchenko is a contemporary dance artist with over ten years of experience in creation, performance, and movement research. Trained at the Carmen Roche Professional Conservatory (2017), his career weaves together stage work and teaching as core aspects of his artistic practice.
For the past eight years, pedagogy has played a central role in his journey. His teaching approach emphasizes the physical, creative, and expressive development of each student, understanding dance as a tool to explore and inhabit the body with awareness. He has been a guest teacher at institutions such as the EDMC Professional Conservatory and renowned training and research spaces like Espai La Granja and CREAT (professional circus formation).
He is co-founder of the company La CLANdestina, with which he has performed at festivals such as Circuito Bucles, Vila-real en Dansa, and Abril en Dansa. His work is rooted in the belief that movement is both an artistic language and a pathway to foster thought, presence, and transformation—on stage and in the studio alike.
