
About this Event
Held in connection with the weekend opening of Niki de Saint Phalle in the 1960s at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, this panel discussion will address the internationally known artist’s life in La Jolla from 1993 until her death in 2002. Participants in the discussion will include Jose Tasende, owner of Tasende Gallery, Saint Phalle’s daughter Laura Duke and Erika Torre, Executive Director of the Athenaeum Music & Arts Library, moderated by La Jolla Historical Society Historian, Carol Olten.
Admission is free and donations are encouraged. Capacity for this in-person lecture is 35. Light refreshments will be served.
