This event is a nighttime sky tour run by Pilgrim senior Cameron Gavitt as part of her senior project. I’ve had a passion for astronomy since I was young and wish to make learning about the stars more accessible to my community. All ages are welcome and the event is completely free! The presentation will take place at 116 Long Street in Warwick, Rhode Island, from 7:30-8:00 PM on Saturday, October 4. Please plan to arrive around 7:15. If this date is cloudy, stargazing will not be possible so the event will be moved to Saturday, October 11, at the same place and time.
Scanning the QR code on the flyer will bring you to a Google Form where you can sign up just so I can get an estimate for how many people will attend. Your email will only be used to contact you about a date change and a quick survey after the event.
Bring chairs and blankets to relax on. Snacks and drinks are welcome.
Thanks so much for your interest and make sure to share with other people who may be interested!
