About this Event
Caridad partners with the Las Vegas Shufflers and Corner Bar Management to hold the first-ever LV Shuffle competition. This event will serve as a fundraiser to celebrate Caridad’s 15 years of “Humanizing the Homeless.” The event will be held at a Corner Bar Management property on Fremont East.
About the Caridad: Originally created in 2010, Caridad was founded in San Diego. The organization is now based in Las Vegas with a focus on jobs reintegration through gardening for disabled vets, hourly jobs for higher-functioning individuals, and original art sold and created by Caridad’s severely disabled clients. Clients are housed at Caridad’s 124-unit restorative wellness community, Hebron.
About the Las Vegas Shufflers: Las Vegas Shufflers is a community based around shuffle dance culture. From Melbourne to Malaysian, we strive to give dancers and flow artists a home to hone their craft, build lasting relationships, and learn from each other. Find your funk at one of our meetups! All skill levels, all ages, all backgrounds are welcome!
