? Is there a traditional fundraiser in addition to Nightmare Academy?
Not this year! For our 50th anniversary we are conjuring something fresh and fun for everyone (21+) in our community. But remember, we need three times the number of ghosts... er, guests to meet our fundraising goal! Spread the word and join us for a night of fun that supports a great cause!
?️ What time should I arrive?
Wander in any time after 7PM and stay as long as you dare until the witching hour strikes at 11PM! Think of it as a spine-chilling seasonal pop-up bar, but with an eerie twist!
? What should I wear?
Costumes are NOT required, but would be fun! Dress in whatever makes you feel fabulously spooky and generous!
?️ Will there be a silent or live auction?
This year will just have a ghostly silent auction, so prepare to bid on extra hauntingly awesome items!
? Do I need to bring cash?
No, we’ll have QR codes ready for credit card payments, Apple Pay, Venmo, and PayPal.
?️ What other creepy cool things can I expect?
Prepare for a spine-tingling experience with real piercings, temporary tattoos, a tarot card reader, and more chilling surprises! And of course, we’ll have student-made Frankentoys, Halloween ornaments, and other eerie delights for sale!

Plaza Academy is an accredited nonprofit therapeutic alternative school for KC's at-risk youth. We cover $333,000 a year in scholarships for students who face unfortunate circumstances. These teens want the opportunity to learn and grow in a safe environment and are the reasons why we hold our fundraiser each year.
