The Magic of Night Trains® returns for our 2025-2026 Season! As we did last season, we are offering limited advance ticket sales in 2 hour time blocks. $15 per guest, kids 4 and under are free. There will be no group rate for the 2025-2026 season.This popular seasonal event begins on November 8th and continues every Saturday from 3:00 to 7:00 pm through February 28th, 2026. Plus, on the Monday and Friday of the weeks during, and after Christmas. Note: We will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Check our Facebook page and website for additional times, dates and special events.
What is Night Trains?
The museum’s collection of model trains of all scales and toy trains of yesteryear come alive throughout the Museum (Sorry, no real train rides here). Night Trains Season magic begins as the lights are turned down and the buildings and street lights glow warmly, setting the scene for specially lighted models of operating vintage passenger trains. The make believe towns are covered in snow and holiday decorations are up all over the miniature towns.

October:
The season kicks off with Spooky Trains! See event details here!
November:
- Bonus Spooky Trains night on November 1st!
- We are slowly switching from Halloween trains to winter decorations and then to Christmas decorations.
- Bonus Night Trains on Black Friday, November 28th from 3-7!
December:
- Santa visit on Dec. 13th and 20th! Get a picture with and let him know what’s on your list! Bring your cameras to capture holiday memories!
- The GRVS traveling layout will join us on December 20th and 21st!
- Bonus Night Trains events on the Monday and Friday of the weeks during, and after Christmas. (Dec. 19th, 22nd, 26th, 29th, and January 2nd)
January:
- Christmas decorations will start coming down on January 24th but we will maintain winter decorations through February.
- Live music with Bill Cagley every Saturday!
February:
- Enjoy the new year and get a break from the long winter with our amazing railroad layouts!
