Join local bat workers and experienced batty volunteers for a night-time safari at Spade Oak Lake, on the hunt for our incredibly acrobatic, nocturnal flying mammals. Spade Oak Lake is a fantastic location for bats feasting on insects above the water. We've previously recorded 7 of the 18 species here, found in the UK during the summer.
We may be lucky enough to spot other nocturnal species at this local nature reserve.
Due to timings and proximity to the lake, we suggest this event is not suitable for young children. Bring head/small torches if you have them.
