A great afternoon of brushes and brews all in support of United Way Hastings and Prince Edward!
Be part of a large scale art piece without any of the pressure that comes with being an artist. Local artists Jodi and Victor Cooper are partnering with Meyers Creek Brewing Company and together with their patrons will be creating a multi canvas mural of the city of Belleville. Your minimum $5 donation gets you a 5x5 inch canvas and all the materials needed to paint your portion of the city skyline. And we do mean YOUR portion. We want to see fun and original takes on what Belleville means to you. Each canvas will have a layout to ensure it fits with the canvases around it, but how you choose to fill it in is completely up to you. It’s a bit paint by numbers and a bit free-for-all!
This piece will travel around Belleville as one “United” work of art, first being featured for the month of February on the gallery wall at Meyers Creek Brewing. It’s meant to be a lighthearted affair where friends can chat and make some art over a pint. That’s exactly why we chose Meyers Creek Brewing Company, and we’re so glad they said yes.
We're happy to offer a "donate-what-you-can" ticket option, with a minimum donation of $5 to participate in the painting event. 100% of every donation will go this year's United Way HPE campaign. These funds stay in our local community and assist 1 in 4 people in Hastings & Prince Edward who need it most.

This is not a closed event—The taproom will be open as usual, so guests are welcome to stop in for a pint, take in the artwork in progress, or join the painting if you wish.
Not feeling paint-ready? No problem. Meyers Creek Brewing will also be hosting a draw for one of their awesome branded sweatshirts. Draw tickets will be given to anyone in the taproom who shows they made a donation to United Way on the day of the event—whether or not they take part in the painting (Everyone painting will also be given a draw ticket).
All paint supplies and canvases will be provided—just bring your creativity, generosity, and community spirit.
