To jump with us for night jumps you must hold a B-License or higher, or be B-License "qualified" - meaning you've done your water training and have completed the canopy control proficiency card.Please sign up in the office if you're interested in doing night jumps!
Fine Print: Slots pricing $34 per jump, you cannot use block jumps, and you must have money on your account before sunset, no exceptions. If you're interested in doing more than one jump, no worries, just make sure you have that money on account before the sunset load takes off. You must be present for the briefing (after sunset, specific time TBA) or you will not be able to jump. Safety first!
ALSO... This is a reminder that the FAA requires a light visible for three statute miles while under canopy. GLOW STICKS are not visible for three statute miles and will not be allowed as a substitution for the FAA requirement. A red glow stick is fine on your chest strap, but you are required to have a brighter strobe pointed backwards that will be turned on while you are under canopy until landing. If you don't already have one or can not get one prior to the night jump. Gold State Gear Store is ordering strobes that will be perfect for night jumps.
"1. FAA regulations [FAR 105.19] require that when performing night jumps, each skydiver must display a light that is visible for at least three statute miles from the time the jumper is under an open parachute until landing.
