10 horse races will be shown at Trace Brewing between 4:00-7:00pm.
Races 1-8 will be pre-recorded showings with horses named by horse sponsors for $10 or $20 each.
Race 9 is a very fun HUMAN horse race! Say wut?
Race 10 will be a live screening of the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs. Horse sponsors will be given a Kentucky Derby horse name at random from the existing list of 20 Kentucky Derby horses. No naming required!
***NEW!!! Because horses are fleeing their stables, you can now sponsor JOCKEYS too! The owner of the jockey riding the winning horse will also win some dough, so get those jockeys today! You can name them by responding to the question at checkout about naming a horse - we will know what you mean.
Ways to participate:
Sponsor and name a horse or a jockey (you'll be prompted to give us your horse name at checkout). If your horse wins, you'll take home half of that race's winnings - anywhere from $50-$250 depending on the stakes of the race.
Donate to support your favorite horse live and in person. Cheer them on and have a chance to win some dough if your horse wins. (You do not need to sponsor a horse to participate in this way.)
Come and have a beverage and watch all the entertainment happen in front of you. Wear Kentucky Derby-themed attire if you wish. $1 from every drink purchased will benefit Evolve.
There are no tickets for this event - just show up and join in the fun!
Can't make it? Make a donation of any amount, or sponsor a horse and name it - and we'll let you know if you win before midnight on May 4th to arrange to send your winnings.

1. What do you mean by "name a horse"? Think of a fun name like "Neighriah Carey," or "Britney Spurs" that speaks to your personality or sense of humor!
2. Do I need to purchase a ticket for this event? No!
3. What time should I arrive? Anytime between 4-7...races will take place between 4:30 and 7:00 at the latest. The Kentucky Derby is scheduled for 6:45pm.
4. Where can I park? Parking in Bloomfield is on the street. Signs will indicate permit parking but at that time on a Saturday, you will be safe to park in those areas or at a meter on Liberty Ave.
5. What should I wear? Derby-themed attire includes large hats adorned with flowers, fancy suits, and pops of color.
6. What if I'm still confused? Come anyway! We guarantee a good time.
