Sol (The Sun)- A feminine presence, age 18+, a bright and vivacious being who loves to dance and chat with her plant friends. She represents the sun. She is stubborn and strong-willed, speaking rapidly and often without much thought beforehand. She has a sunny disposition and an overall positive outlook on life and the world around her. She hasn't put much thought into her existence or where she comes from but stays happy and mindful. She is self-assured and confident in who she is. *movement and dance skill preferred*
Linus (The Moon)- A masculine presence, age 20's-40's, Linus is a reclusive spirit who spends his time in the pursuit of knowledge. He is the representative of the moon. He is gentle, intuitive, quiet, and often reluctant to speak, but when he does, he does so with eloquence. He sometimes can be fearful and looks at the outside world with caution. He spends most of his time struggling with who he is and where he comes from; he is in constant existential contemplation. He is a little unsure of himself, but is extremely knowledgeable and quick-witted.
Narrator (The Poet)- Any gender, age late 20's-80's, The narrator is the mystical creator of our story and our protagonists (although, they don't know that yet). He is the "Mr. Rogers" type that guides us through this folktale until it is revealed he is a part of the story.
