Taste of Nicosia: Culinary and Cultural Entanglements😋What does Nicosia taste like? Take a bite into the city’s urban culinary delights, uncovering the stories and memories linked to them. On this walk, we explore the cultural and social significance of beloved local food spots, examining how food reflects the city’s ever-evolving anthropogeography. We trace the efforts of families and individuals to preserve culinary traditions and flavors of the past or to introduce new ones, connecting us to our past, present and future.
📍We’ll meet at the Home for Cooperation as usual, explore the city across the divide and return to the Home for a culinary treat – Taste of Cyprus by Joy of Origins – an event organized by The Home Café!
