"Christmas in July" takes place during the hours 9:30am-12:45pm at St. Vincent de Paul in downtown Phoenix at 1075 W Jackson St. (IMPORTANT: enter at 15th Ave. & Harrison)For every 1 person leaving homelessness, 2 are entering. Over 225,000 people were evicted from their homes last year alone! Let's be the family these folks need so much. Let's be the friends they need, the Good Samaritan, the support during a very hot summer in Phoenix. Come feel the profound goodness and pure gratitude that wells up in your soul by making the most fundamental of gestures of love, building family and community.
We will be giving away 1000 T-shirts, underwear and socks, men’s shoes, 1000 flowers, and 1000 gift certificates to McDonalds, to Starbucks, chiropractor Benjamin Benulis, acupuncturist Seva Simran Khalsa, and haircutters from Phoenix Barber School!
KEY DETAILS:
* Please enter through the 15th Ave & Harrison entrance of St. Vincent de Paul in downtown Phoenix.
* Wear your favorite NFL or college team jersey/T-shirt
* Bring $100 to $200 (or more) of $5 gift certificates to McDonalds. Not required but highly encouraged! The most McDonalds gift cards get an autographed KC Chiefs Hall of Fame NFL football.
* Please NO open-toed shoes per local health regulations
