Nick Goumas Quartet
Tenor and soprano saxophonist Nick Goumas is a jazz musician who has developed his own mature , imaginative and identifying style. Nick performs with energy, feeling and musical integrity.
Drawing from the “ American Song Book “ along with today’s “ Jazz Standards” ; The Quartet’s post Bebop, contemporary straight ahead style along with a display of rhythmic and harmonic sense, produces some exciting jazz improvisation.The Quartet’s growing audience has a mixture of musicians and jazz aficionados alike. The Quartet is joined by three outstanding Boston area musicians who all have outstanding credentials Steve Hunt on piano , Jim Lyden on Acoustic bass and Peter Moutis on drums .
