About this Event
If you’ve ever wanted to spend more time connecting with your industry peers and discussing what impacts YOU, then you should come to our next event!
This town hall is your chance to be a part of a community discussion on top priorities and concerns in the local industry. In the end, we are a volunteer organization dedicated to uplifting YOUR local industry and we want to talk with YOU about what’s going on!
We’ll cover questions like, What is Nice Moves? What do they do? What resources do they have? What kind of things are happening behind the scenes at this super useful animation organization and what goals lie ahead? What can I do to help the Minnesota animation community grow and thrive?
On April 22nd in Canadian Pacific Plaza, we’re opening the floor. Our board members will give you insight on what we do as an organization, what goals we’ve accomplished so far, and what the future looks like for Nice Moves. You can always send your thoughts to our discord or email, but now is your chance to voice any questions, concerns, community goals, and more in person, and learn about your peer’s experiences. The way we grow as an organization is by understanding what our community needs. We wouldn’t exist without you after all!
Mingling time starts at 6:00PM, the town hall starts at 6:30PM! As always, free pizza and drinks! And RSVP through the eventbrite link so we have a headcount!

Parking & Entry
There are several close by parking lots in the downtown area and metered street parking. A little further out, about a 10-15 min walk are the ABC Ramps, which can be a bit cheaper and are easy to get to. The building is also conveniently right off the Hennepin Goverment Plaza Light Rail Station, if you are taking public transit.
Once you are inside, look for the first floor conference rooms.
