Nice Moves is excited to present our November speaker, Lucas Langworthy, founder of Greyduck Creative! Lucas will discuss authenticity in the context of creativity and motion design. As creatives, it’s easy to fall into the trap of replicating trends or conforming to expectations, often losing sight of our true selves in the process. He’ll discuss how our personal stories and experiences can be powerful tools in design, leading to work that is not only more impactful but also more fulfilling. He’ll share practical strategies for integrating authenticity into one’s motion design practice, from balancing trends with personal expression to embracing imperfections that make our work relatable. This is not just about becoming a better designer, but about designing a life and career that reflect your true self.

Lucas Langworthy is the founder of Greyduck Creative, a leading studio specializing in video marketing strategies for SaaS companies. With a decade of experience working closely with Product Marketing teams, Lucas has honed his expertise working with companies such as Apple and Slack. Under his leadership, Greyduck Creative has partnered with high-profile clients, including Sprout Social, Webflow, and Bitly, to deliver innovative and impactful video content. Lucas brings a deep understanding of the SaaS industry and a talent for crafting engaging video narratives.

Parking & Entry
There are several close by parking lots in the downtown area and metered street parking. A little further out, about a 10-15 min walk are the ABC Ramps, which can be a bit cheaper and are easy to get to. The building is also conveniently right off the Hennepin Goverment Plaza Light Rail Station, if you are taking public transit.
Once you are inside, look for the first floor conference rooms. There will be printed signs on the door announcing the Nice Moves meetup, but there will also be board members there to guide you. Note that you need to use the 6th street building entrance.
