Nice and Easy Trail Hike: Glen Meadow Loop Trail in Adams

These easy-paced, 1 to 3-mile guided hikes are geared for seniors, but open to all ages. A wonderful opportunity to join other hiking enthusiasts who share in the joy of the great outdoors!
Hiking times may vary from 90 minutes to 2 hours. Be prepared for variable weather, wear appropriate clothing and sturdy boots.
MEET at The GREYLOCK GLEN OUTDOOR CENTER, on Gould Road in Adams. After a brief introduction, restroom break and water bottle fill up, we will be taking a short walk on the Glen Meadow Loop Trail.
Please dress appropriately for outdoor walking in variable winter conditions. Wear sturdy hiking shoes or snow boots. Traction devises for your boots and a walking stick may also be advisable. Bring water and a snack. We may also have a number of Dion-NeviTREK handmade snowshoes to try out on the hike! Call to PRE-REGISTER!

Glen Meadow Loop in Winter
The Glen Meadow Loop in winter offers a serene experience with snow-covered landscapes and the occasional sounds of nature. While the trail is not suitable for running due to icy conditions, it remains a great spot for a peaceful walk with family or friends. The trail's flat and well-maintained surface makes it accessible for all, including those with mobility challenges. Visitors can enjoy the tranquility of the forest and the occasional wildlife sightings, making it a perfect winter escape.
