About this Event

We are hosting a stakeholder consultation to explore the potential of green ammonia technology for use within the agricultural community. This is an initiative of the Global Nitrogen Innovation Center for Clean Energy and the Environment (NICCEE), a collaborative network between researchers in Canada, USA, UK, Morocco and more. The Ontario-based team is led by Dr. Claudia Wagner-Riddle at the University of Guelph.
Workshop Goals

  1. Learn about current development status of green ammonia plants and distributed nitrogen production units.
  2. Discuss/understand potential interest in the technologies, perceived benefits and challenges, as well as opportunities to support more effective development and deployment.
  3. Identify opportunities for how to advance nitrogen management/what farmers need to advance.
