About this Event
Experience the thrill of mountain biking with local Texas NICA teams and Trek at our try-it-out event! Designed for 4th-12th graders, this event welcomes everyone—whether you're brand new to mountain biking or an experienced rider looking to connect with a new team.
Parents and community members are encouraged to join, meet our dedicated NICA students and coaches, and explore opportunities to get involved as a coach or supporter. It's a day of fun, community, and discovering the joy of mountain biking. No experience? No problem. Everyone is welcome!

Welcome Station – Waivers and Instructions
Bike Ready Station - assess bike ready and assign groupings with stickers
Nametag Station - Decorate Nametags
Coney Course - to ride around on.
10:20-10:45 Group Games</h4>
We'll work on a few basic bike skills and get you ready for the trails.
<h4>10:45-11:30 RIDE the Trails</h4>
Time to head out to the trails! There will likely be a wide variety of skill levels. Our expert coaches will be sure to keep this ride fun.
<h4>11:30ish Recap/Awards</h4>
Meet back at the team tent. We'll have fun awards and giveaways for participants.
If you loved it, you'll have a chance to sign up to join a full season of fun with your local NICA team.
