FREE CLASS! Blending movement, mindfulness, and joy, NIA is a low-impact conscious dance experience that can be customized to each participant's needs, creating "pause" or "activation" for the body, mind and spirit. The 60-minute class integrates ancient wisdom and modern science with elements of dance, martial arts, and healing arts, ultimately offering a transformative experience through physical conditioning, meditation and emotional empowerment.
About the Instructor
Laurel Lenski, a NIA White Belt Instructor, also holds degrees in Dance and Expressive Art Therapy. Recently completing a course in "Movement and Dance in Psychotherapy" her passion to share the therapeutic powers of dance, movement and expression are present in her approach to facilitating client groups throughout western Massachusetts. She enjoys engaging each participant and meeting them where they are at, in the moment.
