All expenses of the inspector including travel and/or lodging is covered by NHRA. The sportsman chassis certification when completed is $170 and is good for 3-years. Sportsman chassis tags expire on the last day of the month punched out + 3-years.
The cost for the Pro tag is $260 and must be inspected annually.

Chassis needs to be ready for inspection. This means the body needs to be off open-wheel cars or roadsters. Fullbodied cars need to get high enough in the air so chassis inspector can get to all.
