This draft will be held at The DAWGHOUSE PUB (please get there EARLY so we can start right at 6:00 pm)HOW IT WORKS: You will be randomly assigned a draft number when you walk in the door, and will set at the assigned seat for that number. This will dictate the order that we pick in. #1 will pick first, then #2 and so on, until we get to #20. #20 will pick twice, then #18 and so on until we get back to #1. No player can be picked twice.
MATERIALS: As usual, I will email you a fantasy draft list from ESPN that we will be using to pick from. You are welcome to use your own list, obviously, but please try to follow along and cross out players as they are chosen
THE TEAMS will consist of 13 skaters and a team of goalies (14 rounds in total). Only your top 11 picks will count. The bottom three will not be counted
THE POINTS: The point system will be as follows:
1 point for a goal
1 point for an assist
2 points for a team win
2 additional points for a hat trick
3 additional points for a team shut out.
THE COST: The fee is $32.00 per player. $30 goes to the pot and $2 goes to the website we host on: www.hockeydraft.ca
THE PRIZES:
Last place: Gets their $30 back
The rest of the pot is split:
1st place: 50%
2nd place: 35%
3rd Place: 15%
