The North Hoosick Fire Department & the Hoosick Falls Fire Departments are once again teaming up together for an event in February. Our 2nd Formal Winter Ball will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Hoosick Falls Armory on Church Street in the Village of Hoosick Falls. Music this year will be provided by the new country group "River Country Band" that formed last summer and debuted in July in the village park as part of the Summer Concert Series. Singers Krissy Fauler, and Goob Steller lead this great band. We are looking forward to a wild country night. Tickets are now available. We are now taking reservations for tickets. If you know you're going to come spend the night with us you can reserve your tickets by contacting Chief Alan Bornt @ 518-378-4538 or you can send a text message or contact me on messenger. Tickets are $20.00 per person & $30.00 per couple. All you need to do is advise me on how many tickets you want and I will reserve them for you, and you can pay for them at the door. We will also have tickets at Hoosick True Value & Jean's Place. You will still have the chance to purchase them at the door when you arrive. Making reservations will allow us to get a good head count prior to the event. We will also have an opportunity for individuals or couples to have their photos taken. Price will be determined that evening by the photographer. Our 1st Formal Winter Ball last year had 130 people attend. We would like to go even higher this year. Plenty of room. This year the food we will have on hand is Pizza & Chicken Wings along with fruit & veggie platters. There will be a Chinese Auction just like last year. 50/50 Raffle and a cash bar for the evening. So have some dinner on us, dance the night away, and listen to some good ole country music. All provided by your local fire departments of North Hoosick & Hoosick Falls.
