Join the Adelaide Drug Discovery Incubator (ADDI) and the UoA Advancement Team on Wednesday, 12 November, for a unique opportunity to hear from Dr Noel Chambers, CEO of the National Foundation for Medical Research and Innovation (NFMRI).

Dr Chambers will share insights into the Foundation’s strategic approach to "Solving the wicked problem of the gap from research to translation" and outline current and upcoming funding opportunities available through NFMRI. With a strong background in pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, biotech, commercialisation and philanthropy, Noel brings a wealth of experience and a national perspective on how to advance medical innovations.


In addition to Dr Chamber's presentation, the event will feature a case study by Dr Branka Grubor, a University of Adelaide researcher and previous NFMRI funding recipient. Branka will discuss her funded project and share her experience working with NFMRI and Dr Chambers to progress her research beyond the lab.
