About this Event
Join us at Attack Theatre on November 20 for our second event in the NEXT10 series, focused on transportation in our region.
Over the last decade, we have witnessed and reported on profound changes in our communities, including major economic shifts, technological advances and much more. Now we want to help build our own community within the city we all know and love.
We want to look forward to the next ten years of Pittsburgh. With the NEXT10 content and event series, we are facilitating conversations about the coming decade: What changes are in store for Pittsburgh, and how these changes will impact the lives of people living in our communities.
With NEXT10: Transportation for All, we are asking how people will navigate our region in the future. Will our public transportation system continue to serve our communities' needs? How will communities influence policy decisions? How can transportation policy and planning decisions be used to positively shape communities and land use decisions for the better? How will accessibility be prioritized? How is Pittsburgh leading the way in restoring communities displaced by highway construction?
A group of leaders from key organizations will share their plans and perspectives on our region’s transportation, and their goals for making our city a place that is accessible and sustainable to navigate.
