ACERS-UK Presents
FGM/C Reconstruction Surgery Stakeholder, Community & Networking Event
DISCUSSION ** F O O D * * D R I N K * * AND ** M U S IC
Join us for our second face-to-face FREE event for FGM survivors, health professionals, advocates, campaigners and charity workers as we continue discussing the urgent future of reconstruction surgery for FGM survivors in the UK and highlight our progress so far. ACERS-UK is a voluntary collective of FGM experts, including survivors, charity workers, and healthcare professionals. We advocate for research into reconstruction surgery and psychosexual support, aiming to establish a national FGM reconstruction service through stakeholder consultation, evidence publication, and parliamentary advocacy.
Our partners co-hosting the event include FORWARD UK, Janet Fyle (RCM Policy Advisor), Sunflower Clinic, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and the Dahlia Project, Manor Gardens Centre.
Arabic and Somali interpreters will be co-hosting
Come and be part of this important movement. Together, we can make a difference!
