About The Event:
The Poetry Room Open Mic is back for another vibrant season—let’s gear up to share, publish, and push poems out into the world.
In this first session, we’ll explore innovative ways to break the rules of traditional poetic form. We'll dive into found forms like questionnaires, instructions, and schematics, and experiment with inventing our own restrictions—all in the spirit of chasing surprise and solving the creative puzzles form can pose to content.
