Featured Speaker: Laura Crandall
Laura Crandall, founder of Slate Communication, has over 30 years of experience in industries like manufacturing, journalism, hospitality, and academia, with 15 years spent leading teams. A Harvard Graduate School of Education alumna specializing in cognitive neuroscience and organizational behavior, she also teaches workplace communication at Harvard Extension School.

Laura is the author of Working With Humans, where she tackles the question her clients ask most often: “Why are people so annoying to work with?” Her book offers essential tools for managing difficult workplace conversations and breaking the cycle of frustration. Drawing from decades of consulting and management work, Laura provides practical, humorous, and insightful strategies to help people communicate better, foster stronger relationships, and lead with humanity.
