Join the Chicago Council of the American Writers Museum at their annual Next Chapter event!
On August 5, 2021 from 6-9 pm, the Chicago Council will host a fundraising event, Next Chapter: New Horizons, a celebration of our collective re-emergence from darkness and isolation. The event will be held at the gorgeous Offshore Rooftop and Bar at Navy Pier. Come enjoy refreshments, mingle in-person with colleagues, and learn more about the Museum's efforts as we move forward.
The purpose of this event is to raise funds for the Museum's Write In Youth Education Program that primarily serves students from under-resourced schools in Chicago and nationwide. In 2019, we raised more than $30,000 for this program.
The Chicago Council is a group of attorneys, consultants and other leaders from the Chicago business community, and we are coming together in a big way to make this year’s Next Chapter soiree the best one yet.
