Fanny von Arnstein was one of the most remarkable women in early 19th-century Vienna. Her connections made her well-positioned as host of a prominent salon: she was a student of W.F. Bach friends with C.P.E. Bach and Haydn and a supporter of Mozart and Meyerbeer. She played a leading role in founding the Gesellschaft der Musik Freunde in Vienna and during the Congress in Vienna she hosted many of the great world leaders. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about this amazing woman and enjoy music from her salon performed by tenor Jason McStoots and fortepianist Andrus Madsen in two remarkable and intimate salon venues.
