Prices:
£ 10 per car – all occupants get access to Gardens and Event
Season Ticket Holders – £3.00 per person to enter event (gardens) – Parking and House entry Free as usual.
Child – £1.00 per person
Walkers and other walk-in visitors – Adults £3.00, Child £1.00
No access to gardens without an event ticket.
Cash only accepted at Garden Entry point - Cards accepted in House Shop.
Once again Newstead is the host to an amazing range of historical 1940s displays from our fabulous re-enactors.
Come and meet military and civilian personnel and see their encampments and historic vehicles.
We’ll have Jeeps, trucks, a half-track and a small selection of classic cars too!
You’ll meet members from British, Allied and Axis forces, so you can learn what life was like on both sides.
Each day there will be a Battle, where you can see them in action. Who will be the winners each day?
NEW FOR 2024! Come and see the Stuart Tank in action, an impressive fighting machine, never seen at Newstead 40s before!!!
Live Entertainment each day will be be provided by the suave Johnny Victory and the glamorous Marina Mae.
They’ll get you singing along to some of the wartime classics and have you toe tapping to the Sounds of Glenn Miller and the Andrew sisters.
Join them in their sing-a-long finale each day.
A selection of vintage and militaria stalls will be selling period items, alongside some charity stalls, raising money for well known armed forces charities.
