Get ready for an exciting afternoon as Adventures in Education presents: Newsies on May 18th at 6:00pm! Step back in time at the historic Meroney Theater, and come and witness our talented cast bring to life the captivating true story of the newsboys' strike of 1899.

When powerful newspaper publishers raise prices at the newsies expense, Jack Kelly, and the newsies, along with the reporter Katherine, rally together with kids from across the city to create a movement to fight for what's right. Based on the 1992 motion picture and inspired by a true story, Newsies features a Tony Award-winning score featuring the now classic songs “Carrying the Banner,” “Seize the Day,” and “Santa Fe,” Newsies is packed with non-stop thrills and a timeless message, perfect for the whole family and every audience.
