1-hour train rides in Newport, RI Saturday October 11, 2025!The Old Colony & Newport Railway is excited to announce additional excursion trains from the reopened Newport Station. The trains will depart the station located at 19 America's Cup Ave, Newport, RI at 12:30PM and 2:15PM for 60 minute rides to Middletown and back. There the train will turn around to head to Newport. Passengers will ride in a Budd Rail Diesel car built in the 1950's with views of Narragansett Bay not regularly seen by rail in years!
Ticket prices are $15 kids and for $20 adults. We are accepting cash and checks at the station. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure.
Please note there are no bathroom facilities on the train or at the station.
