At Newport Sea Cadets, we offer our cadets the opportunity to get a head start on life following the customs and traditions of the Royal Navy.
Through our local unit and the national Sea Cadet Corps, we offer our cadets:
- Boating (sailing, rowing, powerboating, windsurfing and paddlesports)
- Nationally and internationally recognised qualifications (such as RYA, BTEC, Duke of Edinburgh and much more)
- Specialisations like first aid, marine engineering, catering and physical training
- Proficiencies such as mountain biking, rock climbing and aviation
- The opportunity to gain essential life skills whilst following a training programme aligned to the values, customs and traditions of the Royal Navy
