Newport, RI Day Trip 9/13

On Saturday, September 13, 2025, we’ll head to this coastal town of Newport for a full day of maritime fun, oceanside views, shopping, and delicious food. Whether you’re into luxury yachts, classic sailboats, or just a relaxing New England day trip, this event has something for everyone.

• Date: Saturday, September 13, 2025
• Departure: 6:30 AM sharp from Midtown Manhattan (W 39th St & 9th Ave)
• Arrival in Newport: ~11:00 AM
• Free time to explore on your own. *Optional: access to the Newport International Boat Show (tickets purchased separately) and tours.
• Return Departure: 5:00 PM from Newport, arriving back in NYC around 9:30 PM

What’s Included:

• Round-trip transportation on a private, air-conditioned passenger or coach bus (size of vehicle will depend on ticket sales)
• Itinerary suggestions for food, sights, and walking tours

What to Expect:
Spend your day exploring Newport’s charming waterfront, checking out multi-million-dollar vessels, visiting local shops and cafés, or touring mansions and lighthouses. You’ll receive a curated list of suggested activities, tours, and restaurants to make the most of your visit — whether you want to stroll, sip, or shop.

• This is a self-guided experience with suggested options provided
• Entry to the Newport International Boat Show is not included (you can purchase tickets online or on-site)
• Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for boarding in NYC
• Wear comfortable shoes and bring sunscreen or a light jacket
• This trip will run rain or shine
• Gratuities are welcomed

Info: You’ll be dropped off near the Newport International Boat Show entrance and downtown shopping area. Guests will explore on their own. Key areas include Thames Street, the Shops at Long Wharf and Brick Market Place.

Info: Return to the same pickup location for our ride back to NYC. Please arrive at the meeting spot no later than 4:20 PM so we can depart promptly.
