The theme for Fire Prevention Week is all about safely using, storing, and recycling lithium-ion batteries. Join us for demonstrations, child friendly Snack & Learn Centers, learn about our Hazardous Materials and Bomb Teams, see SPARKY and our new Bomb Detection Dog LUMI! Newport News Public Works will be there to collect lithium-ion batteries for recycling and share recycling information. The collection is for Newport News residents only.
