Operating for over 30 years, this flea market is a fundraiser for the Kiwanis Club of Newington, Inc. Funds raised are used for scholarships and donations to community organizations. A single vendor spot consists of two marked parking spaces and costs $15 which is collected around 8 AM. There is no advanced registration--vendors just show up that morning. Most vendors arrive by 7 AM to set up.
Adult shoppers are requested to donate $1 as an admission fee to also assist in fundraising.
The flea market runs each Sunday in May, June, September, and October with opening week set for the last Sundays in April and August each year.
