Newcomers Employment and Entrepreneurship Hub

NEESH is a free, 6-week program designed to support newcomers to Canada (Permanent Residents and Convention Refugees). Whether you’re looking to secure a job or start your own business, NEESH offers in-demand training tailored to your goals.

• Recruitment starts in January and classes are available online until mid-march
• Fully online classes covering career development, social media strategies, project management, financial literacy, and many more skills
• 1-on-1 career coaching for resume-building and placement opportunities
• A dedicated cohort-specific WhatsApp group
• Networking opportunities, pop-up markets, and other professional development events
• A Certificate of Completion upon meeting course requirements
• Access to mentorship opportunities after the program
• Sell and showcase products or services at FREE pop-up markets, turning ideas into real-world business opportunities.

NEESH is a program of Scadding Court Community Centre and is offered in partnership with Diversity Institute of Toronto Metropolitan University.
