About this Event
Newcomer Kitchen is a Not for Profit Food Entrepreneurship Training Program for Newcomer Women. This Pop-Up supper is inspired by classic Moroccan dishes for pick-up at Trinity St. Pauls Church at Bloor and Spadina or delivery by Good Foot Delivery.
Moroccan Dinner
Appetizer
A "Moroccan Cigar" this rolled phyllo pastry is stuffed with sauteed vegetables, brushed with butter and baked to a flaky golden crunch.
Meat Option
Roasted chicken tangine slow cooked with preserved lemon and olives served with couscous and a fresh seasonal salad. (halal)
Vegetarian option
A vegetarian tangine full of flavourful simmered seasonal vegetables and couscous. Served with a fresh seasonal salad. (Vegan)
Dessert
A fresh and delightful orange trifle made with traditional Moroccan orange cake and orange blossom yogurt, fresh orange segments & whipping cream.
