Newcastle's Strongest is back and we are starting with the Beginners and the Novices!
The comp is brought to you by Studio 19 Fitness and will be held at Flight Bar in Heaton
4 categories - Beginners and Novice Men and Beginners and Novice Women
Please only enter if you feel the weights look a challenge as we want the day to be as competitive as possible - if you are inters level then do our comp in August instead 😉
On the day all athletes will be provided with a little goodie bag (water and energy drink)
T-Shirts for all competitors as well as trophies for the top 3 in each category and £75 for the winner of each category
Event 1
Trap Bar Deadlift
Straps and Figure 8s allowed. No Suits
WB - 115kg
WN - 140kg
MB - 180kg
MN - 210kg
Event 2
Monster Dumbbell for Reps
WB - 20kg (this will be a hex dumbbell with a fat grip)
WN - 27.5kg (also a hex dumbell with a fat grip)
MB - 40kg
MN - 47.5kg
Event 3
Yoke into Duck Walk
15 Metres one way with yoke, 15 Metres back with Duck walk. Fastest time wins
WB - Yoke 95kg
WN - Yoke 125Kg
MB - Yoke 175Kg
MN - Yoke 205Kg

Event 4
Farmers Walk. 10M x 2
WB - 42.5kg per hand
WN - 52.5kg per hand
MB - 75kg per hand
MN - 90kg per hand

Event 5
Sandbag over Yoke for reps
WB - 40kg
WB - 50kg
MB - 75kg
MN - 90kg
