About this Event

Do you work in education? Become a Wellbeing Champion and help embed staff wellbeing into the culture of your school or college. When you train with Still Human to become a Wellbeing Champion, you will be equipped with everything you need to effectively inspire long-term cultural change around staff wellbeing. When good wellbeing is nurtured amongst staff in the workplace, individuals and organisations thrive.

Training is provided by our expert Wellbeing Facilitators who have many years experience in the education sector. This 2-day course is perfect for leaders, HR, managers or someone in a position to inspire change for staff wellbeing in education.

The course is assured for the DfE Senior Mental Health Lead training grant. We can consult you on attaining the funding. The deadline for claiming the funding is 31st March 2024.

Course timings:

This interactive, CPD accredited course runs over 2 days to allow time to discuss and digest topics as well as action plan, with coffee breaks, lunch and comfort breaks throughout the day.

Day 1 - 9.00am-4.00pm

Day 2 - 9.00am-4.00pm

Training covers:

  • Why staff wellbeing matters
  • Embedding wellbeing into the culture of your school
  • An exploration of Stress Awareness and Mindfulness Tools
  • Fostering gratitude, strengths and positive emotions in the workplace
  • Workload
  • Action planning for long-term cultural change

Good workplace wellbeing is beneficial not only to your staff's overall health but also benefits engagement and increased productivity at work. Good staff wellbeing can also benefit children and young people in your school or college, in terms of their own wellbeing and academic performance.

Our 2-day interactive Wellbeing Champion training course encourages schools to take a proactive approach to staff wellbeing, a vitamin rather than a pain-killer approach, with the focus on embedding wellbeing into the school culture, rather than being an added 'extra'.

The cost of the Wellbeing Champion course is £800+VAT which includes food and refreshments throughout the day as well as access to the resources and materials to use in your schools.

Spaces are limited to allow for in depth discussions and tailored advice, so register your interest today.

**Reserving a space on the Wellbeing Champion Course only provisionally reserves your place. Your place is not guaranteed and confirmed until full payment has been completed with Still Human. Please provide your details so a member of the team can contact you about securing your place on the course. You will not be permitted entry to the course until full payment has been completed. **
