Newcastle University Choir presents The Armed Man, A Mass for Peace by Karl Jenkins on Sunday 21st September at The Harold Lobb Concert Hall, The Newcastle Conservatorium of Music, Laman St, at 2:30pm. The performance features one of Australia’s finest mezzo sopranos Sally-Anne Russell as soloist. Sally-Anne will also present ‘Hope is a thing of Feathers’ by Australian composer, Jodie O’Regan. This concert will contribute to the Shaping Futures Scholarships fund, supporting talented students in need to stay in education.
