Come and join thousands of spectators from across Newbury and beyond to cheer on our KRAZY, WACKY, and OUTRAGEOUS soapbox racers as they launch down the streets in the first-ever Newbury Krazy Races — proudly presented by Newbury BID! 🎉
💥 THE ROUTE:
Our racers will be hurtling down Old Bath Road near the Medical Centre, speeding along Oxford Street, and crossing the finish line near the Clock Tower — expect thrills, spills, and plenty of cheering!
💫 Powered by nothing but courage, creativity, and gravity, our amateur teams will race for glory, competing in categories including Best Dressed, Best Design, and of course, Fastest Soapbox!
We’re now on the lookout for 20–40 fearless Newbury teams to take part in this unmissable event.
👥 Teams can include up to 5 people, and we’re inviting local businesses, charities, and groups of friends to join the madness!
