Sue and David Newberry Present: 100% pure grownup music that you can bring your family to* (or not). The 4th Saturday of every month from 6-8pm at Jethro’s Bar + Stage.--
Stan Simon began writing songs at a young age in Toronto, Ontario, drawing inspiration from the vintage folk and country records he discovered in his parents’ basement. With a voice that’s both powerful and heartfelt, Simon crafts earnest lyrics accompanied by sharp harmonica playing and a rustic folk sound that reverberates deep within the listener.
Newberry Enterprises is the name of a home renovation business that was active in the Lake Simcoe Region in the 1990s and early 2000s. It is also the band name of brother/sister roots-pop duo Sue and David Newberry, who have no memory of a time when they were not singing songs together.
+ A performance by Evan Sheffield
Stick around after their show to catch one of our favourite bands - Peter Graham & The Voyageurs - who are playing 8pm-10pm.
Like all shows at Jethro's, this show is a Pay What You Can endeavour.

*No swears, not too loud, you can bring your own snacks, and the performers understand that there will be kids being kids. Otherwise, it's a show at a bar on a Saturday that will feature absolutely no children's music.
