The New Zealand Students Dermatology Conference hosted by the Dermatology Interest Group of New Zealand is the only dermatology conference in New Zealand that is purely aimed at medical students. It is run by and for medical students of Aotearoa.
This conference is being hosted in the beautiful city of sails this year. Our executive team has been working hard to ensure that you have the best experience possible.
It will be a day packed with informative talks on medical, paediatric, surgical dermatology as well as training pathways. Our keynote speakers are prominent dermatologists who are leaders in this field. There is also a surgical skills workshop planned which will be run by renowned surgical dermatologists in New Zealand.
The profiles of our speakers and tutors will be released soon.
Our conference has a limited amount of spots available and the quality of your application will be used to determine the outcome. In previous years, the number of applications far exceeded the number of spots avilable. We anticipate that this year, the number of applications will be greater.
We are also excited to announce that we have secured Sofitel Auckland as the venue for our conference. Sofitel is a 5-star hotel based in the viaduct harbour of Auckland. It boasts amazing harbour views and provides a world-class experience. It is considered one of New Zealand's most premier venues and we are thrilled to host our conference here.
Note: This event is open only to New Zealand medical students.
All in all, we are looking forward to having you at our conference!
