The top 48 performers over 2024 qualify to play in the NZ Champs at District28 Arcade in Pukekohe - Sat/Sun/Mon 25/26/27 January. Qualifying: Sat 9:30am. 7 rounds of 4 player matchplay, 3 games per round.
Finals: Top 16 play off, best of 5 matches head to head.
This event is the Official IFPA NZ Championship and receives 150% points boost. The winner of the NZ National Championship receives qualification to the IFPA World Championship (along with the #1 ranked NZ player as of December 31st)
Top 16 place getters will receive prize money, gathered from the $1 IFPA fee you have been paying to play in tournaments over the 2023 year. These amounts will be announced prior to the event.
Three days of events, Saturday/Sunday/Monday. While the NZ Champs Main Event is for the top 48 2023 qualifiers, everyone can play in all the other events over the weekend.
