We’ve decided to restart things with a bang. We have a dream team of upcoming new international pros, each one with a fantastic reputation for community building, social dancing, and technical knowledge of the dance.
Introducing our All Stars/Champions:
Tim Kenny - Multiple award winner for most popular social dancer and best laugh ever.
Chantelle Pianetta - Professional ballerina and Champion West Coast Swing dancer/instructor well known for her quirky and brilliant U.S. Open routine from 2019 (go watch it now - trust me!)
Joel Torgeson - A man so charming and kind, women have been known to faint at the sight of his hair alone.
Riley Crozier - Organiser of Do Your Own Swing. A shining star who is growing a kind and caring community of dancers in San Jose.
Abigail Vogels - Known for her love of teaching and admired and respected by leads and follows for her beautiful styling and ability to make the most of any lead.
Brad Whelan - A man famous for his photos, humour, and deeply disturbing views on vertical video.
Katrina Ostrenski - A beautiful dancer and human being both inside and out, she encapsulates the true spirit of WCS.
Lets be blunt, these people were chosen because of who they are as people, not just their dancing (which just happens to also be amazing). Come and spend a weekend enjoying human connection music and dance.
