The NZIPP Honours Council are proud to introduce the inaugural New Zealand Amateur Photography Awards for 2024. The New Zealand Amateur Photography Awards brought to you Photo Warehouse, is a digital entry only competition which can introduce amateur photographers to the world of photographic competitions. The aim is to encourage pushing creative boundaries, provide critique for growth and development, and opportunities for recognition of the strength of a photographer’s work.
Entries open 15th April - 23rd June, with the top 25 scoring entries from each category will go through to a live feedback round on Wednesday 31st July 2024.
Come and join us at the Majestic on Durham to watch the live feedback round. Check out the Iris Professional Photography Awards print exhibition, or pop your head into one of the Iris Awards judging rooms while you are there. Make a week of it, but stick about for the NZ Photography Show too. Immerse yourself in the world of photography, all in one place!
