New Zagreb Classic Futures 2024. International Youth Chess Tournament.

Inviting all aspiring chess players, future masters and grandmasters regardless of gender, nationality or current rating to join us in a new and, hopefully, future classic adventure.
Following the extraordinary success of the inaugural New Zagreb Classic held in February, we decided to launch another international tournament, this time exclusively for youth (U20) players. The New Zagreb Classic Futures is open for anyone born in 2004 or later who is a registered player with a FIDE number.
In our three groups (A, B and C) — based on rating and not age — there’s room for top young players, as well as for up-and-coming talents; for already established cadets and juniors as well as for those who have just started their chess journey. What we want is a tournament where everyone feels welcome and valued, competing with players of comparable skill levels and celebrating the ancient game.
